FAQ:
What songs will we be playing?
- Ideally, it will be a mix of worship songs we are more familiar with / have prepared more, and spontaneous worship song requests that we can learn together as a group.
- The more defined set list can be found here: CMW Jam Night Set List
- Song requests will be via word of mouth. During the Jam Session, if you want to have the group learn a song, simply be vocal about it!
How many people will be playing at once?
- Ideally, everyone who can play, should and is encouraged to play! We will try to play as one large group. If there are many people who want to play, we may form groups that alternate in leading worship songs.
How good do I have to be to participate in the Jam Session?
- Everyone, musically inclined or not, is invited and encouraged to come. If you have a heart to worship the Lord, that’s all you need to participate! We want this to be a space where we can help each other develop the heart and the skills to worship God!
- At the Jam, you don’t have to play an instrument! You can also just fellowship and spend some with other brothers and sisters at the Jam Session!
- All levels of musicians are welcome. If you do plan on playing, the songs we’ll be playing will revolve around the utilization of basic chords, primarily in the keys of G, A, D and E (from the songs on the Set List).
